I will regret missing the reunion forever, except for hugging the hairy critters!

First, let it not be said that a Martinian has forgotten his manners - Jayati, you are a doll for being the first (and till now) the only person who posted photographs for all of us to see! Avik tried but the jury is out on whether he is a distant second or disqualified considering that all he did was email the same photgraphs a day later :-) Sorry Avik, ebaar saala toke support korte parlaam na.

This encore for the core team has to end. There never was and there never will be any co-ordination committee. We were there only because of geography. There was only a slow warming of the heart that reached orgasmic heat during the lunch and every thing that followed. Everyone was sublime. Everything was esoteric. Every smile was beatific. Everyone was haloed (even Jigme)! Everyone made everyone happy. I have never seen such a wholesome (please, no pun intended) bunch of happy folks.

Over the last couple of days memories of the many years spent with all of you in school keep overlapping with memories of the two days I spent with all of you.

The reunion is over, taking with it all our doubts about each other. The 2 days spent together re-inforced the fact--when the going gets tough, the tough go shopping. Seriously guys, it was a wonderful 2 days we had together. Age not withstanding, what came to the fore was the saying" abhi toh mai javaan hoon".

You brought out the best in us. Hindu mythology is categorical on the subject - the lover and the loved share the same platform because without one the other doesn't exist. The lines are blurred....I don't who is the lover and who the beloved.....it suffices that we are either or the other and that's what makes this immortal.

What can I say? Other than to thank all of you for two very special days. Both the luncheon in school and my day at the Vedic Village were just unbelievably fulfilling and fun. The affection and banter proved that as classmates, we share something very rare and precious and hard to replicate outside and after school.  Please forgive me if I sound overly sentimental but I felt it necessary to share this. To all the organisers, my heartfelt gratitude for putting together a reunion that delivered on everything the best reunions aspire to and more.

My best wishes to all of you and your families.
